Jaroslav Kulhavy and Czech brand Nutrend specializing in sports nutrition and supplements, will continue their successful partnership until the next Olympics games in Rio 2016!
“Nutrition is very important part of my training, racing and regeneration, which simply cant be underestimated. We have started our cooperation with Nutrend four years ago and all my greatest achievements and victories are associated with it. So I am very happy that our cooperation will continue until the next Olympics in Rio, “said Jaroslav after he renewed the contract at the new headquarters of the company.
Jaroslav together with other Nutrend Team athletes Lukas Bauer, Petr Vabrousek, Michal Prokop and Viktor Zapletal also participated in the testing and consultation of new Nutrend products that will be launched soon.
Jaroslav put a definite full-stop after the season with the bronze medal, which he won at Sunday´s 56 km race, closing the Roc d´Azur festival.
Jara started the race basically with no expectations because he considered the Friday´s marathon, where he finished the second, to be the last of the season. Finally he again finished on the podium in spite the fact that he enjoyed the race very much, proving it in the famous uprise Col de Bougnon, which Jaroslav rode on the back wheel.
A good feeling from the last race was spoiled a little by the organizers, who send on the same track of the last 15 km before the finish, the race of hobby triathlon racers, which caused much confusion and many dangerous situations especially in the narrow parts of the track. The race was won by the Olympic gold medallist of 2000 Miguel Martinez.

As in the previous years, this year Jaroslav decided to end the bike season in a pleasant place of the European´s biggest festival of mountain bikes Roc d´Azur in French Frejus. Nearly 15 thousand cyclists arrived this time.
The third man of the world ranking preferred this time 83km long marathon, a part of the world serial, which reflected in a quality of the riders. Jaroslav was on the head during the whole race together with his teammate Christoph Sauser. But he failed to defend the victory of the last year – Austrian Alban Lakata was better in the finish spurt.
“As the last year I tried to go ahead on the beach, I made a small lead, but I had rubber legs and it wasn´t enough for a long sprint with Alban. Nevertheless I am happy, it was a nice full-stop of the season,” said Jaroslav adding that he still thinks how to hold up the Sunday´s 50km race.
