Just one week after Jaroslav entered again the World Cup on the fourth place in Albstadt, he finished the fifth in the next race of the serial, this time on the challenging natural track in La Bresse.
“The French bikers rode perfectly today, that´s for sure,” paid Jara the home bikers a compliment. After the winning Julien Absalon, there were other two-Marotte and Koretzky.
“I am satisfied, especially on this kind of a track which I do not like. The main thing is that I didn´t fall anywhere, because the terrain was very slippery. I have the points and my performance looks good. I was riding in a good feeling especially at the end. There was no point in risking for the fourth place. I was sure that Nino would over-jump me in the downhill. The downhills were decisive here. When I caught ahead someone slower, it was not possible to overtake him. I caught Giger in such a way in the second round and it meant 25seconds down. I was careful then, but I definitely wasn´t the fastest and I was loosing in the downhills,” added Jara who moved in the running WC standing to the seventh place, although he didn´t pass the opening race in Australia.
