The winter preparation is going according to the plan and Jaroslav has flown for his second training camp, this time to cyclist popular island Mallorca.
He is going to spend there two weeks together with coach Viktor Zapletal.
“Here, I will start to train in higher intensities. That’s because I would like to reach a good standard before first races, especially before Cape Epic stage race, which is my first goal of upcoming season.” said Jaro about prestigious mountain bike stage race in South Africa.
The training rides should be around five, maximum six hours long. Longer rides I’ve ridden in the past, doesn’t make a sense this time because performance tests confirmed to me very good endurance. I think eight days of racing at Cape Epic will again move my performance a bit and It will be desirable before the start of cross country season. I’m already looking forward to racing!” add Jaro who celebrated his 30th birthday couple days ago.
